Saman Sohi is a driven international business student who brings a unique blend of global experience, technical innovation, and relentless determination to every challenge he encounters. Currently pursuing his degree at Michigan State University after studying at Loyola Chicago's Quinlan School of Business, Saman graduated from Detroit Catholic Central in 2023 and has since built an impressive foundation in startup development and AI technology.
His most transformative experience came during a year in Rome, where he worked at Unfold Tomorrow, a startup accelerator that shaped his understanding of lean business models and AI development. There, he designed and developed AI-powered PDF extraction tools and pitch deck assistant applications while gaining hands-on experience with the startup acceleration process. This international exposure reflects his passion for learning about different cultures and his commitment to expanding his worldview through travel.
Saman's multilingual abilities set him apart in today's global marketplace—he speaks fluent Farsi and English, with working proficiency in Italian and conversational skills in French. His technical toolkit includes expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel, and various AI platforms, complemented by his photography skills and creative eye for visual design.
What truly defines Saman is his result-oriented mindset and unwavering persistence. Guided by his favorite Albert Einstein quote—"Everyone knew it was impossible until the fool who didn't came along and did it"—he approaches every problem with determination to find solutions, no matter how challenging. He believes deeply in continuous self-improvement and transforming criticism into positive reinforcement.
When he's not immersed in business challenges or AI development, Saman enjoys playing golf on weekends and exploring his love for music across all genres.
